How long does a transfer take?

There is no set in stone rule with how long it takes another provider to transfer over the pension funds to Collegia.

There are 2 different scenarios:

1. Manual Transfers: Manual transfers can take 2-6 months overall, and in some cases—particularly where additional manual intervention or ceding provider delays occur—transfers may take up to 9-12 months to complete.
2. Enhanced Digital Service: Ceding pension schemes typically take around 20–30 days to complete a transfer, although in some cases it can take longer. Please note that these timeframes are set by the ceding provider and are unfortunately outside of our control. Occasionally, they may also request further clarification or additional documentation before finalising the process. This process is in any case much faster and much less time consuming than Manual Transfers.
